Sharps containers
Injuries from sharps waste can pose a large public health concern, as used sharps may contain biohazardous material. It is possible for this waste to spread blood-borne pathogens if contaminated sharps penetrate the skin. The spread of these pathogens is directly responsible for the transmission of blood-borne diseases, such as hepatitis B, C and HIV. Health care professionals expose themselves to the risk of transmission of these diseases when handling sharps waste.
Sharp’s waste
We offer a complete range of sharps containers. All of these products are UN3291 certified. The containers are designed for the transport of hazardous hospital waste or other high-risk waste, such as cutting, penetrating, or blunt materials. All the sharp’s containers are provided with a temporary and permanent closure system. For many years now, we have been supplying sharps containers and packaging material for infectious waste such as bins, carton boxes, and boxes made of corrugated PP.
